We are the electric vehicle charging network owner and operator aiming to help tackle the lack of charging infrastructure in Scotland.
Due to the rapid growth and success of ForEV, we are now looking to take on a full time Business Development Manager covering Glasgow and the surrounding area.
So what’s involved?
You will lead on research and identifying new business opportunities in Glasgow and surrounding areas. This involves exploring new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
Overview of what you’ll need:
- Ability to focus on getting EV charge points installed on viable, strategic high footfall sites, secured on long-term leases with landlord/owner. I.e. Car Parks, Hotels, Retail Parks, Offices/Commercial Spaces, Tourist
- Attractions, and other destination sites.
- Identify and build relationships with developers of commercial & retail premises/parks throughout Scotland.
- Proven track record of building & developing relationships with commercial property agents so we are the “go to” company for EV charging throughout Scotland.
- Build up an introducer network on a referral or lead fee basis so we have a contact base of people who bring ForEV opportunities for EV charge points.
- Sales and negotiating experience preferred, as well as an understanding of finance/asset finance.
Sales:
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Ability to focus on getting as many EV Charge points installed on viable, strategic high footfall sites, secured on long term leases. ie. car parks, hotels, retail parks, office/commercial spaces, tourist attractions & destinations.
- Identifying and building relationships with developers of commercial & retail premises/parks throughout Scotland so we have a relationship directly with the developer and can have points agreed at planning stage development.
- Proven track record of building & developing relationships with commercial property agents so we are the “go to” company for EV charging throughout Scotland.
- Build up “introducer” network on a referral or lead fee basis so we have a contact base of people bringing ForEV opportunities for EV charge points.
- A proven track record in professional sales and negotiation.
- Experienced in asset finance.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the electric world.
- Work to budgets set by the Executive Team.
Account Management:
- Client quarterly reviews to discuss utilisation & full-service history of charge points. Information TBC
- Discuss with site hosts future opportunities and identify any areas for further charge points.
- Ensure the customer obtains the very highest level of customer service.
- Keeping in contact with key decision makers within ForEV client base to be first to get new opportunities and introductions
- Should any service issues arise, or complaints deal with them accordingly to ensure ForEV have managed as best as possible and the best service in the industry.
- Ability to work with marketing team/campaigns to drive footfall to our charge points and in turn clients’ sites.
