Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver Operative
Location: Didcot Quarter (near Milton Park), Abingdon
Salary: Competitive, plus overtime opportunities
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
About the role
This role combines hands-on logistics support with Class 1 driving between our warehouse in Milton Park and our client site in West Oxfordshire. With local driving and predictable working patterns, we provide a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Receiving and handling goods
- Checking and safely loading your vehicle
- Transporting high value goods, primarily to local sites
- Off-loading goods before returning to Didcot Quarter
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have a clean Class 1 (C+E) licence and be keen to train in operating a forklift and indoor crane. You will have a quality focussed attitude and thrive in a process driven environment.
Key requirements:
- Clean and valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Up to date CPC and digital tachograph card
- Professional, customer focussed attitude
- Willingness to take on warehouse tasks alongside driving responsibilities
