Job Title: Lead Support Worker

The Role:
We are residential care provider with homes in the Bristol and Somerset area. We require Lead Support Workers for our farm site in Wells, renowned for providing high levels of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- To promote a caring environment for Service Users through high standards of professional practice which are in line with the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of Service Users.
- To undertake ‘Key-Worker’ responsibilities.
- To ensure that each Service User receives care appropriate to their individual needs and Service User plan.
- To conduct yourself in a professional, courteous, and kind manner at all times, to ensure you are part of a team that takes pride in their roles.
- To be a “shift leader” and support the management to ensure the service users’ needs are taken care of.
- To undertake other such duties as are within the scope of the spirit of the job purpose, the title of the post and it’s grading.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Able to be caring, sensitive and patient while supporting people to be as independent as possible.
- Enthusiasm to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- The ability to lead a small team
