Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Atherton, Manchester, M46 0SU.
Salary: £18k to £20k plus

The Position:
As HR Administrator, you will provide a high-quality, hands-on, professional HR service to employees and line Managers. As a people focused team member you will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain all personnel records via People HR System.
- Record all absence (sickness, maternity, paternity, other events etc).
- Prepare HR letters and documents, assist the payroll function by providing relevant employee information e.g. absence, starters, leavers.
- Working with the HR Co-ordinator to ensure the professional onboarding of new staff:
- Pre-employment checks
- Set up on People HR system
- Collate company equipment required (work items issued)
- Set up emails and IT access with outsourced IT provider
- Set up IT equipment
- Carry out DBS Checks, including monitor and reporting
- Set up IT equipment when required
- Processing Leavers
- Arrange Exit interview and collation of exit interview stats.
- Process leavers via People HR and ensure the return of company equipment.
- Action leavers as per leavers process and leavers checklist.
- Maintenance of People HR, Ascot and client portals to ensure accurate employee records, starters and leavers and scanning and uploading of qualifications.
- Support the HR Co-ordinator with booking statutory training.
- Source and book training courses for all staff
- Obtain Quotes from Training Providers
- Place Purchase Order for Training Course
- Check staff levels and labour scheduling, notifying Leads/Managers of dates
- Issue Training Agreement along with Joining Instructions to trainee, ensuring a signature is obtained
- Liaise with Accounts re Payment
- Obtain and upload Certification following completion
- Working with the HR Co-ordinator to ensure that training completed is recorded via People HR.
- Reception – greeting visitors and answering the main switch board for reception only calls.
- Vehicle Management – updating Key Fleet and vehicle folders, booking repairs, servicing, MOT’s, and placing orders.
- Raising PO’s in line with the Supply Chain Policy for recruitment, training courses, IT hardware, uniform, stationary, and other adhoc orders.
- Other tasks such as ordering uniform/PPE, stationary.
- PAT/Asset register – ongoing upkeep to ensure accurate records.
- All other duties as may reasonably be required by the HR Manager.
The Candidate:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent. CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards.
- Previous HR Administrative experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external.
- Ability to organise and plan own work.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- A flexible, proactive approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-priortise.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
