Job Title: Junior / Graduate Sales Executive – Field Based

Location: Field Based

Salary: £18,250 + £3000 bonus per annum + Company Vehicle + Mobile + Pension + Training

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

Mirror Marketing is a Field Marketing Agency – they look after Big Brands, Medium Brands, Small Brands. They activate them in store, they don’t do traditional ‘marketing’ – so they make sure their clients products are visible and ‘on sale’ so that consumers can buy them. They are looking for enthusiastic, go getters that have the drive and determination to fulfil this role. Would suit candidates with previous sales or FMCG experience!

About the role:

Ideal Entry Level / Graduate level Sales role, or great for a confident face to face Sales Representative keen to advance into Field Sales.

We are willing to train and develop suitable candidates who can demonstrate the personality and desire to succeed in this role.

You must hold a full UK driving license and live within Birmingham / Coventry / Leicester or surrounding area.

The role objective is to increase distribution and sales by selling a range of confectionery products. You will be proactive, confident and seeking out both new outlets to sell into and up-selling into existing customers.

Your role will be Field based, visiting outlets and building long relationships. You will be equipped with all of the tools and resources that you need including outlet listings and product training to get you started.

Key Duties:

  • Visiting Convenience customers within a defined territory, types of outlets include: Nisa / Costcutter / Spar / Londis etc
  • Stock holding and transport to your clients for direct immediate sales
  • Generate sales – up-selling and cross-selling by selling stock direct from your vehicle
  • Direct point of contact for your customers – a friendly and approachable character required
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships across your customer base
  • Identify opportunities to grow business
  • Reporting your work and results on a daily basis
  • Ensure KPIs and Targets are met and ideally exceeded!

About you:

  • Direct Sales Experience preferred – phone based, face to face or retail
  • Bright, enthusiastic and confident character with ability to manage own time effectively
  • Ability to use an in house data reporting system (training provided)
  • Negotiation Skills – proven in any transferable setting
  • Time Management & Journey Planning Skills
