Job Title: Kitchen Team Member
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £10.50 per hour depending on experience
Job Type: 40 hours per week working 5 days per week with set hours and days to be agreed.
Paul Rhodes Bakery is a multiple award-winning bakery who have been baking since 2003. We produce a wide range of handcrafted products including artisanal and classic breads, all butter vienoisserie, and a beautiful selection of cakes and pastry items, and deliver these everyday throughout the London region.
In the heart of beautiful Greenwich we have our independent local Bakery shop with a loyal customer base who love the quality bread, pastries and cakes as well as our top-quality coffee and most of all the friendly and welcoming service that we offer.

Key information:
- Savoury food preparation for the bakery café including Sandwiches, sausage and veg rolls, and filled croissants and there is potential to further develop the range in future.
- Assist in developing new menu options and recipes with the management team, including calculating costings
- Manage daily ingredients prep, ensuring the ingredients are as fresh as possible.
- Manage ingredients orders and deliveries and related invoice management
- Ensure ingredients and prepped food stock rotation is followed.
- Ensure consistency in the quality of the offering, ensuring other team members who may cover days off are fully trained
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and orderly at all times, and clean down procedures are followed thoroughly following food prep.
- Manage daily, weekly and deep cleaning rotas of the kitchen, ensuring other staff are completing tasks to a high standard.
- Ensure Hygiene and Health & Safety good practice standards are followed, keeping paperwork updated as required.
- Work with management on the morning routine if required, ensuring the kitchen shift runs optimally
- You will be given barista training, and may be required to help at the coffee bar in the case that there is less to do in the kitchen.
