Job Title: Electrical Assembler / Technician

Farid Hillend Engineering, recognised for product quality and service worldwide, provide comprehensive sales and service solutions, utilising modern technology, to the ever-changing waste collection sectors of the waste management industry.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Manufacturing and installing of control systems to Refuse Vehicle Bodies including running control systems and connecting to chassis electrics.
- Assembling wiring looms.
- Reading and understanding electrical schematic drawings provided by the Engineering Department.
- Fully testing and fault finding of complete Refuse Vehicle.

Experience:
- Experience in diagnostics and repair of vehicles is essential.
- Experience working in an automotive, mechanical, or agricultural maintenance or similar industry.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office computer software packages.
- Experience working within a strong safety culture.
- Experience gained in fabrication and welding in particular experience welding / fabricating would be advantageous.
Knowledge:
- Experience of loom running.
- Be familiar with electrical control systems.
- Previous experience of working within a strong safety culture.
- Previous experience of working as part of a team.
Education:
- Time served Electrical apprenticeship would be advantageous.

- Hourly rate – up to £14.00 per hour dependent on experience.

- Working hours – 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm on a Friday
