The Role – Events Manager
The ORCHA team speaks at conferences around the world every day of the week – in person and virtually. You will secure speaking slots and manage the team’s schedule and presentations to ensure this programme runs smoothly. ORCHA also has a successful series of innovation zones at conferences around the world. With the support of an experienced team, you will help manage the activities needed to ensure they are a success.
Working from our Daresbury head office but with the flexibility to work from home also.
Key Requirements:
- Project Management Qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a project management role
- Experience in digital health
- An understanding of the NHS and organisational complexities
- Proven track record of leading projects and tasks
- Based in the South of the UK
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work well within a team and individually, using your initiative and autonomy
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Excellent client-facing and Internal communication skills
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to be flexible in your approach to work
- A committed work ethic, with enthusiasm to develop your skills and a drive to learn
- Attention to detail with an enquiring mind
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
