Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Buntingford
Salary: £9.60 per hour
Job type: Permanent. Your hours of work will be 09.00 – 15.00 and you will be expected to work on a permanent 2 week rolling rota as follows:-
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
This will equate to an average of 21 hours per week in total.

The Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work alongside the Head Chef/Cook to help prepare all food and meals to the highest standard within the care home. Assisting with the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals for our residents based around specific dietary requirements, choices and desires whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment. The catering team plays a key part in our home, you will become part of the care home family and let’s be honest, YOU are what makes our home a great place to live and work!
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the food they prepare and takes pride in what is served to our residents on a day to day basis. Previous experience would be an advantage, as would a food hygiene qualification.
