Job Title: Care Assistant – Part Time

Location: Buntingford

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Job type: Permanent – Part Time. Your hours of work will be 07.00 – 14.30 (early shift) or 14.30 – 22.00 (late shift) and you will be expected to work on a permanent 2 week rolling rota as follows:-

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

This will equate to an average of 26.25 hours per week in total.

The Role:

As a Care Assistant at Layston Grove, you will be required to provide the best possible care and support (physically and emotionally) to our residents on a day to day basis. Your responsibilities will include personal care, getting ready for the day/night ahead, assisting with meals (food and nutrition) and providing day to day social interaction which is just as important as each individual’s physical wellbeing.

Being a Care Assistant is a busy role where our resident’s needs will be your top priority. You will be supported by a senior in charge on every shift as well as a hands on management team who are in the home each day. You will ensure all resident activity is recorded effectively (training will be provided) and any concerns are highlighted in a timely manner.

You will quickly become part of the care home family and let’s be honest, our team members are what makes our home a great place to live and work!
