Overtime rates of 1.333 for midweek shifts, 1.5 for weekend shifts, and an additional 10% for overtime shifts on nights

The role:

To print on one or all of our four presses, ranging from 4 colour stack press to 8 colour CI press. Mount printing plates as required, and ideally the ability to quickly colour match in. To operate equipment as effectively as possible and to contribute to the shift meeting demands in terms of production, waste, quality, housekeeping and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental Procedures and Regulations
• Meet production targets and customer deadlines
• Complete daily checks
• Follow SWP’s
• Completes required production paperwork

The Candidate:

• Ability to work flexible hours on a continental shift pattern working through days, nights, as well as weekend work on certain patterns.
• Self-motivated and can work under pressure
• A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good practical skills

Knowledge, Training and Experience required

• Ideally with previous print experience of working within the flexible packaging industry
• Health and Safety Awareness
• Quality Awareness
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping

Benefits:

• Weekend shift allowance of 1.5 on basic pay for hours worked Friday night to Sunday day inclusive
• You will be paid weekly each Friday
• ​There are 2 shift patterns available: –
  1. Continental 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights (including weekends), hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, average 38.5-hour,
  2. Rotating 3-week pattern, working rotating days and nights (with no weekends), hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, average 39.5-hour,
