The Company:
Pearce Compaction Systems is part of the Pearce Group which is a family-owned business that has been in the recycling industry for over 100 years, are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer.
Key Duties:
- Assembly of new machines
- Assembling of hydraulic components.
- Assembling of electrical components.
- Dissemble of old machines.
- Refurbish old machines and reassemble.
Key Skills & Experience:
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and capable workshop Engineer. A quick learner who can absorb new ideas, communicate clearly and who also possesses a good team spirit and is deadline orientated.
For this role you will need:
- Full UK driving licence
- Worked with hydraulic systems
- Good knowledge of electrics
- Good fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of MIG welding
- Ability to work on their own
- Fork Lift Truck licence
- Calmness under pressure
- Initiative.
- Fits in well in a small team environment
