Job Title: Tenancy Support Officer – Rough Sleepers

Salary: £24,982 to £27,041 per annum

Harrogate Borough Council has secured funding to provide additional support to rough sleepers and are looking for a Tenancy Support Officer to work within the Housing Needs team.
You will be working closely with the Private Sector Team and the Housing Options Team to provide tenancy support to individuals who have a history of sleeping rough. You will need to be able to provide assistance and support to those to attain the skills required to successfully maintain a tenancy and to live independently in the community.
To meet the requirements of this key role you must have experience in a housing related support role, including support planning and advocacy and an ability to work with vulnerable people in difficult situations with complex needs. With a passion for collaborative, multi-agency working, you will have a proven ability to inspire and motivate people, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and you will be able to work well under pressure.
You should have a full clean driving licence and use of a vehicle, for which an appropriate allowance is payable.
You will also need to go through a standard DBS clearance
