Job Title: Technology Solutions Developer

Salary: £28,465.96 to £34,213.04 per annum
Job Type: 1 x Permanent and 1 x Fixed Term (12 Months), Full time (37 hours per week)

The Council are seeking a Technology Solutions Developer who can understand, assess, scope and support our organisational adoption of Microsoft365 with a focus on the Power Platform and other supplier Industry best practice cloud-based technology. Acting as an advocate for emerging technology and balancing innovation with risk management.
Duties of the role
As an essential member of the Technology Solutions Team, you will be evaluating Microsoft365 and industry standard cloud solutions against our strategic objectives, ICT programme, functional needs, and priorities, with a focus on the Power Platform. Ensuring any proposed solution is fully assessed, detailed, and developed to support successful adoption, progressive development and maximises opportunities for re-development and commercial marketing.
You will be exploring and testing emerging technologies, so that our organisation continues to lead the way and stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications and skills required
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a working knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 and developing solutions across this toolset, with examples of successful end-to-end implementation of Canvas Power Apps.
Attention to detail is key and being able to logically map customer or ICT requirements into a minimum viable product, with detailed process workflows; each research action is fully scoped and modelled against a structured work plan.
You will have experience in communicating across both groups and individuals, being able to simplify communications and optimise understanding of any proposed solutions. We would expect you to have experience in delivering successful end-to-end change, consistently meeting deadlines, communicating, and then managing risk or impact and applying a methodical approach to problem solving.
An IT qualification such as ITILv3 or newer would also be beneficial.
