Job Title: Digital Project Management Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £19,000 – £21,000 per annum

Connect is recruiting a candidate for an exciting new role, assisting our Project Managers in the delivery of quality web solutions for our clients.
We design and build software solutions for a range of prestigious clients, focusing mainly on websites, mobile apps, customer portals and intranets. Our client base is primarily in the public sector, including NHS organisations, and government departments, and a smaller number of private sector companies.
In this role you will work closely with our existing Project Managers to support all aspects of digital project delivery; from the discovery phase where requirements are obtained through to the completion of the project. This role will deliver on the job training which will enable you to progress through the company and gain the skills necessary to become a full Project Manager, with training needs identified.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the Project Managers by:
- Ensuring client communication is maintained promptly and professionally
- Scheduling activities for project team members, in line with priorities and deadlines
- Ensuring process checklists are followed
- Recording actions from meetings and monitoring project progress
- Ensuring project documentation, including sign-off forms are obtained and stored appropriately
- Reviewing and editing project specifications and audit reports, to ensure quality is maintained
- Creating and editing Project Plans (Gantt Charts)
- Conducting user testing on software, in line with the specification, and reporting issues appropriately
- Creating test criteria for projects, in conjunction with a Project Manager
- Evaluating, prioritising and responding to issues reported
About you:
Skills:
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and, ideally, Microsoft Project
- A good degree in an IT discipline
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills

- Highly organised, a good planner and able to work on several tasks in parallel

- Proactive and positive attitude
- Thorough and methodical with an eye for detail

Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience using a content management system is desirable
- Interested in digital technologies
- Previous experience working in a digital agency environment or on IT projects
- Experience using a content management system
