Job Title: Food Handling Operative/Sausage and Bacon Production

The Company:
HG Walter Ltd is a growing family run business that supplies high quality meat to some of the most discerning restaurants, hotels and households in London.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a food handling Operative to work with our bacon and sausage production team. The role would suit someone who wishes to work in a busy and demanding environment.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the production manager in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Using State-of-the-Art machinery, such as, grinders, mixers and smokers.
- Weighing and measuring ingredients.
- Assist in packing and processing customer orders.
- Adhering to the company’s food safety and HACCP procedure.
To assist in general ad-hoc duties that arise on a daily basis.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will:
- Be willing to work hard at a fast pace with high levels of organisation.
- Be required to work 45 hours a week Monday to Friday. 7am start is a must
- Have food industry background or experience, butchering skills are not essential but preferable.
- Have a passion for food.
