Introduction:
We’re looking for a SQL Developer to join our team. Their main duties will include the support of existing developers alongside the design and delivery of new SQL based solutions to the business. You will have a strong academic background, ideally educated to degree level or with significant practical experience. A keen interest in Management Information is highly desirable for this role.
Essential Skills:
- Write and optimize data extraction scripts from SQL Server
- Designing insurance illustration documents using Dox42 and SSRS
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
- Prepare and maintain documentation, for example technical specification data dictionary
- Handle common database procedures
- Writing stored procedures
- Hands on experience in SSIS programming
- Support existing and further develop ETL solutions using SSIS
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Assist with the development of Management Information solutions with data modelling and Power BI Reports
- Create, maintain and modify reports (SSRS)
Personal skills:
- Experience of Microsoft Azure platform
- Power BI data analytics
- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- A team player
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative
- Organized, able to prioritize effectively and deliver with a strong focus on quality
Must Have:
