Job Title: Site Foreman – Landscaping

Must have 5 years experience in the industry and 2 years experience in a leadership role.
HOS Landscapes, are a BALI Registered, Garden and Landscape design and build contractor working in London and South East.
We are particularly focused on high-end residential projects as well as a growing specialism in consulting and building meaningful public realm work such as the ‘Forest Garden’ pocket park we build on behalf of London Borough of Waltham Forest in E11.
We have three teams operating on different projects at all times as well as a Senior Management Team supporting the fulfilment of each project and early-stage design intervention and consultation. HOS Landscapes won a BALI National Landscapes award in 2019
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Landscaping teams and work on landscape projects ranging from 20-150k plus in London and surrounding areas.
Suitable candidates will have experience in leading specialist teams and sub-contractors on high-end residential projects, public realm and show garden experience desirable but not essential. Highly proficient in stone laying and general hard landscaping, supported by appropriate qualifications and certificates. Candidates will have a great work ethic and enthusiasm for the industry want to see the company develop.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in running successful projects with teams of at least three and specialist sub-contractors and liaising with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in working with all types of stone, including sandstone, limestone, granite, porcelain and understanding of the different laying methods used for each material.
- Experience in high-end general hard landscaping including drainage works, timber work including decking and pergola construction and plant preparation.
- Able to work from drawings, set levels, lay out from plan.
- Right to live and work in the UK, strong command of English language – spoken and written.
- Able to supervise, encourage and mentor team at all levels.
- CSCS Card minimum – SMSTS training or card desirable.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
