Job Title: Kitchen Staff / Cook
Location: Worthing
Salary: £10p/h (30 – 40hrs p/w)
Job type: Permanent, Full time, (4 Days per week to include weekend work)
Now in our 25th year, we are a family run business established in 1996. Having started as a tea and gift shop we soon found that the food side of the business was so popular that in 1998 we decided to turn the entire premises into a cafe and ice cream parlour.
We now, with our staff, run one of the busiest and most popular daytime cafes in Arundel. Serving breakfast, fine espresso coffee, a selection of freshly made toasties, paninis, baguettes, and sandwiches all made to order.
Since covid and the lockdowns we have adapted and moved to more of a Coffee Shop Bakeaway and our looking for a new team member to help run the kitchen.
The Role:
- Handling food, Prep and Cooking.
- Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness.
- Assisting in the cleaning and tidying of the Cafe
- Maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- Follow the law in respect of food hygiene and health and safety
The Ideal Candidate will have and be:
- Reliable
- Flexible
- Friendly
- Available to work weekends (Saturdays or Sundays)
- Willing to work in a family run business
- A background in the food and drink industry
Requirements:
- An interest in food and drink
- Possess plenty of energy
- Flexible, positive and adaptable team player
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
