Job Title: Front End Developer
Location: Norwich, United Kingdom (Remote)
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
The Role:
We are looking for a talented front-end web developer to join our established software development team and work on the development of front ends for websites and web-based applications. The successful candidate will either join us at our Norwich-based office or as a remote worker.
The Candidate:
Essential
- Min 3 years’ experience as a developer
- Strong skills across HTML, JavaScript and CSS/SCSS
- Experience with WordPress (and minimal PHP), including the development of bespoke WordPress themes
- Experience of JavaScript frameworks including JQuery (for legacy projects) and ReactJS
- Good UX/UI skills with the ability to apply key page designs and concepts across all web pages
- A feeling of pride and ownership of your work
- Strong communication skills with good fluency in English
- Ability to work as part of a team, including pair programming and peer code review
Preferable
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Working with APIs
- GIT version control
- Setup and local development within a Docker environment
- understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps
