Job Title: Café Manager
Location: Henlow, Bedfordshire
Salary: £9.50 with an increase to £11.20 after 3 months probation
Job Type: Full Time (41 hours per week), Permanent

If so we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Café Manager. Koi Café is a new, high spec cafe built at our busy retail site Perfect Aquatics (formerly known as The Japanese Koi Company) in Henlow, Bedfordshire. Construction has almost been completed; we anticipate opening in early December, subject to no further delays.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable individual, willing to take the extra mile.
About the role:
Your main duties will include the day to day management of your team plus:
- Ensuring a high standard of service
- Health and safety responsible
- Liaising with council and licencing bodies when required
- Stock ordering in absence of chef
- Tilling up end of shift
- Other expected cafe duties
- Weekend work
- Managing the cafe’s social media pages working with our third party marketing firm
- Handling customer complaints
About you:
Ideally you will have some experience in a start-up café or restaurant, be passionate about food and have some basic kitchen skills. We would prefer you to have a Level 3 in Food and Hygiene, but do not hesitate to get in contact with us if you have a Level 2 qualification.
