Job Title: Print Room Technician
Location: Lancing, West Sussex
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum
Job type: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday. Full Time

The role:
This job produces inkjet and pad printed plastic products using specialist equipment for both processes.
- Responsible for programming, setting and running of the machines. Ensures quality control measures are adhered to. Provides maintenance and/or minor repair of equipment.
- Performs general tasks and completes routine assignments.
- Receives assistance in the completion of more complex assignments. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the day to day running of the print room
- Ensure that orders are manufactured on time to agreed dates
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaint
- Adhere to relevant Health and Safety and Factories legislation required of the industry.
- Plan and prioritise the print jobs in line with demand.
- Work closely with the Production manager and team to perform continual improvements.
- Programming the ink jet equipment
- Creating digital images
- Training others on the use of bespoke equipment
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum GCSE/A level standard.
- ERP/MRP Systems knowledge
- Relevant experience with industrial inkjet printers
- Experience in plastic printed components
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power Point.
- Problem solving techniques
- Good analytical ability
- Resolve any product non-conformity issues that may arise per the request.
