Job Title: IT Project and Support Engineer

Salary: £26,500 – £31,500 per annum

We’re an established MSP in search of a super, driven, IT geek for this combined role of IT Project Manager and Engineer. You’ll need to have solid technical skills, even better communication skills, a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction. And you’ll need to be super organised and efficient, using project management tools to help you succeed. We’re a lively team that love delivering world-class IT support to clients across the UK and abroad.
Key Duties:
- Delivering world class IT project management for a variety of exciting projects, working with well-known brands
- Provide onsite and remote support to end-users
- Provide problem resolution and training to other technical support personnel
- Respond to assigned tickets/tasks in accordance with SLA guidelines
- Apply diagnostic utilities and best practice methodology to aid in troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot Windows Desktop, Server, Microsoft Office and Line of Business Applications
- Utilise RMM platforms to maximum efficiency
- React to service outages promptly with adherence to standard operating procedures
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop and server level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
- Participate in the ‘On-Call’ Rotation
About you:
- 3+ Years IT Experience in a project management and support function
- 4+ Years Customer Service experience
- At least 3 Technical Certifications Preferred
- Microsoft MCSA, MCITP, MCSE
- Comptia Network +, Cisco CCNA, Security +
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Windows Networking
- Practical knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Patch Panels
- Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2008 -2019)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (7,8,10)
- Experience with AD, MS Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Citrix and DNS
- Experience with all elements of Office365 is imperative
- Awesome phone manner loves helping others and the ability to articulate technical information clearly to non-technical people
