Due to the Company’s continued success, we are looking to expand our Engineering team at our Leeds Office and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Multi Skilled Engineer (fire biased). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and become a valued member of the team. You should be positive and enthusiastic having the ability to provide the client with a premium service and the capability to work independently or within a team when required.
The Role:
- Assisting with complex fire system issues
- Day to day servicing on fire alarm systems
- Assist in attending site surveys for compliance and new designs
- Ability to service and maintain CCTV, Intruder, Access Control and Gas Suppression (desired)
- Ensure that the client is satisfied with the servicing of the system prior to leaving site.
- Accurate completion of documentation, timesheets, and submission of job reports through the Company’s service system.
- Provide a premium service to customers at all times
- Inclusion in the Company’s out of hours call out rota
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of working on networked fire alarm systems
- Gent qualified, commissioning and advanced
- Be able to understand how cause and effect is transmitted around the Gent Vigilon network
- Ability to programme complex cause and effect
- Working knowledge of Advanced, Winmag, EMS and Morley systems
- Working knowledge of Vesda, Wagner and FAAST aspirating systems
- Experience on addressable and non-addressable systems.
- Working knowledge of BS5839 and BAFE.
- FIA qualifications, Design and Commissioning (FIA Units or Foundation route).
- 5 years plus experience in maintaining and repairing the above systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
