If you’ve answered yes to all of the above, then the new position of Sales Events Executive could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible individual with excellent communication skills to join our small, highly successful team. The ability to work well within a team is a must however you must be equally confident to work effectively on your own as well.
This is a unique opportunity to join the team and grow with us as we develop new markets and source new revenue streams keeping the business moving towards the future. It covers everything from proactively sourcing new business to providing accurate information for the events team on the day of the event.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday although some weekend and additional hours may be required on occasions

Further details about key responsibilities of the role:
- Respond to enquiries as received in a timely and accurately
- Confidently make telephone sales calls
- Accurately prepare detailed function sheets
- Arrange and attend client viewings and meetings at the venue as well as at the client’s office
- Attend team/promotional events throughout the UK
- Effectively upsell to increase the average sale value of each event
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including operations and catering teams.
- Proactively use the event diary and CRM system
- Maintain all aspects of the client files effectively and efficiently
- Book some ancillary services that clients require for their events
- Create exciting social media posts and blogs
- Ensure third party websites are updated with new images
- Raise invoices
- Willingly undertake any other task that is within your capability to assist clients and colleagues
Skills/Requirements:
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Amazing attention to detail
- Able to work using own initiative as well as working as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Good time management
- Previous experience in a hotel or venue’s sales or events department is desirable
