Salary: £42,000 – £49,000 per annum depending on experience

Our award-winning, independent Practice is 140-strong, based across four city centre studios; Manchester, London, Leeds and Glasgow.
The Role/Candidate:
Civic Engineers are looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Structural Engineer to join our Manchester Studio with experience of managing and delivering concurrent projects across all sectors. Commercially aware you’ll excel in your design and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate through your past projects strong verbal and graphical communication and contractual awareness.
About you:
This is a key appointment for a progressive and talented engineer who is keen to influence the Practice’s growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in architecture and the wider public realm/built environment.
- Excellent project resource planner with experience of deadline management
- A desire to manage and inspire a team of engineers.
- Chartered.
- A creative thinker.
- Passionate and enthusiastic.
- Overseeing projects being built locally and also nationwide.
- Experience of working on varied size projects from inception to construction up to £150 million.
- You will be continually looking to develop your design and engineering skills as well as your commercial understanding and people management skills.
- You will also be collaborative and helpful and want to be part of an innovative practice making a positive impact to the built environment.
