Job Title: Community Carer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £8.91 to £9.52 per hour, based on level of experience
Job Type: Full-time, part-time and bank roles available
The Role:
We are a local, friendly, family-owned Care company with over 25 years of experience caring for individuals in our local community. This is an opportunity for you to work as part of a team providing clients, who live within their own homes, a service that meets their individual needs.
You will be joining a friendly team of professionals with a genuine passion for helping our clients to remain independent in their own home. A skill set that you can use anywhere. Although experience is beneficial, you will receive free full training to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to deliver excellent professional care to our clients.
Our robust training and development program gives all staff access to tailor-made training and ongoing support. You will receive a full in-house induction and on-the-job training. We also work with you in achieving any learning and development goals to ensure you have the right skills for your role and supporting you in your career progression.
Our only requirement is that you have a valid UK driving license and access to your own car. Your travel time and mileage time will be paid for.
As a Community Carer, you will be assisting our clients with general day-to-day tasks which may include:
- Preparing meals
- Administering medication
- Providing support with personal care
- Assisting with shopping
- Providing companionship
- Possible clinical care including stoma bag, catheter, and incontinence care
If you already have a QCF (NVQ) in Health and Social Care, level 2 or higher then you will also receive a £200 bonus when joining.
All PPE and weekly PCR COVID tests provided, at no cost to you.
