Job Title: Domestic Carer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £8.91 to £9.52 per hour, based on level of experience
Job Type: Full-time and part-time roles available.

We are a local, friendly, family-owned business with over 25 years of experience caring for individuals in our local community. This is an opportunity for you to work as part of a team providing clients, who live within their own homes, a service that meets their individual needs.
You will be joining a friendly team of professionals with a genuine passion for helping our clients to remain independent in their own home. Providing cleaning and laundry services to clients.

Principal Duties – Domestic:
- Keeping all areas of the clients’ home, including toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping as appropriate. Interact with the client and/or their key holders and respect choices regarding their home cleaning.
- Ensuring that all client’s cleaning equipment/materials are maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient working condition.
- Wear protective clothing in accordance with COSHH, Health and Hygiene regulations and Infection Control guidelines.
Laundry:
- Sorting the washing, loading, and unloading machines. Adhering to specific washing instructions, using the correct temperature depending on types of fabric.
- Ironing of clothing and linen as required.
- Sorting, folding, and putting the washing away.
- Ensure working within the infection control guidelines.
- To undertake other duties as may be determined.
Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank holidays.
