Job Title: Chef
Location: Newport Road, Woodseaves.
Salary: Negotiable
Job type: Permanent – Full Time. Min 35 hrs p/w. (Flexible hours).
We are a privately-owned establishment who are searching for someone to join our busy, close-knit team in our purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standards.
We serve traditional pub classics along with our Chef’s signature dishes, our Head Chef creates regularly changing seasonal menus, using the best seasonal produce, sourced locally whenever possible.
We offer a superb value set menu, sophisticated main menu, outstanding Sunday menu and a daily changing Specials menu.
The Role:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standard expected.
- Assisting with the management & maintenance of health and safety & food hygiene practices.
- Monitoring portion and waste control.
- Working individually and as a team.
- Managing food purchasing and rotation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- A real passion for cooking high quality dishes.
- Experience of food safety and hygiene laws, health and safety and allergen regulations.
- Approachable & Good communication skills.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Can do attitude.
- Flexible, positive and adaptable team player.
- Able to work under pressure.
Extra Information:
- Preferable for candidates to have their own mode of transportation.
- Tip shared equally between staff.
