The Role:
As a Sales Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue and growth within new and current partnerships.
You’ll be looking for incremental partners within the UK reseller channel, promoting our brand and products, and getting creative with marketing, but above all you’ll be laying the groundwork to find routes to sale, fostering relationships and making deals!
Acting with professionalism and communicating your knowledgeable and experience of the business is important, however being approachable, down to earth and good natured is vital. Your colleagues in the wider business are successful but humble, easy going, and easy to get along with! Being able to forge new business relationships quickly, with honesty and easy rapport, will be a real benefit.

Duties:
- New business development – proactively seeking new resellers to become partners with Techbuyer
- Account Management, which will involve regular communication with existing customers
- Answering incoming calls, emails, website requests within set SLAs
- Processing orders
- Monitoring website activity to convert any potential sales
- Support to logistics teams
- Undertake any offered training and education to familiarize yourself with our products and systems
- Pre sales and after sales support to customers and end users
- Organising face-to-face meetings for Key Account Managers
- Liaising with other departments – Marketing, finance etc
- Attending industry roadshows
- Maintaining good relationship with team colleagues and managers
- Social media activity
Desirable Requirements:
- *IT or Channel experience would be highly desired but not critical
- High level of professionalism
- Good time-management and problem-solving skills
- Positive can-do attitude
- Previous Account Management/new business development experience desired
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- The desire to learn, improve and grow within the role
Essential Requirements:
- Previous sales experience
- Technology Sales or Channel Sales experience required
- Proven track record in Account Management and/or new business
- Confidence when speaking to customers on the phone, and professionalism whilst at customer visits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
