The Position:
This is an exciting role for a Marketing manager who has a passion for people responsible for a team of one / two apprentices to start and to join the company at the beginning of its journey. This is a perfect role for someone who is outgoing, confident, has bags of enthusiasm and who is driven. This opportunity is about developing new business by showing companies the value and benefits of an Away Day and the positive impact it has on their teams, friends, company morale, overall company wellbeing and productivity – long term with rewards for meeting and exceeding reachable monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess current digital acquisition performance and define segments and create strategies to drive conversion performance improvement across all digital channels (e.g. search, display, social media etc.) to increase traffic and revenue across our event portfolio
- Grow reach, engagement and income across digital platforms and channels through strategic digital marketing
- Define customer segmentation and plan marketing based on each segments requirement
- Design, deliver and manage display and paid social media campaigns as commissioned by the Senior Management Team
- Lead on analytics and reporting for core content across social and digital channels including on site conversion tracking
- Lead on campaign forecasting for organic channels and in-house paid activity
- Develop email campaigns that target the relevant audience based on the event and increase conversions
- Use Google Ads to create campaigns and improve through A/B tests and refine successive campaigns
- Carry out regular performance reports with insights & optimisation recommendations
- Work closely with the events/sales team to communicate the sales strategy
- Manage, write and improve online content across all company websites
The Candidate:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing for a fast-moving growing company
- Experience in planning and executing paid media, building campaigns, implementing bidding strategies across social platforms
- Experience collecting/analysing data and generating actionable insights using analytics and campaign management programs, e.g., Google Analytics
- Good knowledge of digital marketing principles such as funnel optimisation, Landing Page optimisation & experience in running A/B tests for campaigns
- Knowledge of WordPress interface and web design.
- Ability to oversee and define our SEO strategy
- Familiarity with Mailchimp and data tagging
- Solid knowledge of Excel and formulas required to analyse data
- A creative thinker with excellent time management and communication skills
- A background in working with a start-up and/or events would be beneficial but not essential
