Job Title: Multi Drop Delivery Driver
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. Monday to Friday 8:00am till 4:30pm.
Borshch Electric is an award winning family run business established in 1982 with 3 stores across the West Midlands, who specialise in selling new boxed and slightly marked freestanding and built in gas and electrical appliances direct to the public at great prices.
Borshch also offers speedy and professional delivery and installation services with all appliances in store.
The Role:
We are looking for a delivery driver at Borshch. You will be the face of the company when delivering to many customers. Your contact with the customer is usually the final point of the buying process and it is therefore essential to create a good impression, helping the customers as much as reasonably practicable. Honest and reliable with the flexibility to adapt to what is asked of you by the company.
*Full Clean Driving Licence is essential.
*You must have at least 2 years delivery driving experience for this role.
Daily Duties/Responsibilities:
Will include but not limited to –
- Face to face interaction with customers.
- Loading / unloading of stock deliveries.
- Delivering appliances into customers houses, this will involve heavy lifting.
- Loading the vehicle in an order that matches the deliveries that you will make.
- Keeping delivery/customer paperwork up to date, i.e. signed by customer receiving goods, if cannot deliver write on paperwork, ensure paperwork goes to correct people when returning from deliveries.
- Returning undelivered items to your base.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised, putting stock into designated areas as requested to do so.
- Moving stock between warehouses.
- Loading appliances into customer vehicles.
- Various warehouse duties.
