Job Title: Multi Skilled Tradesman
Location: Pontefract
Salary: £20,000 – £30,000 – D.O.E
Job type: Full time – Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30.
20 Days holiday plus statutory.
Bell Lane Garage Ltd is a family run vehicle repair garage and Mot testing station on Langthwaite Business Park in South Kirkby.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types
- Work to the highest level
- Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults
- Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables whilst maintaining records and usage
- Be proficient in replacing vehicle timing belts and chains
- To be comfortable using diagnostic software and diagnosing electronic faults on a range of vehicles
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Own and maintain your own hand tools
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Qualifications – Qualified to NVQ level 2 Standards (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to attend training courses including MOT testing.
- Capable of working alone and as part of a team.
- Good customer service skills.
