Job Title: Mise en Place Chef

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Competitive

Job type: Permanent (Wednesday – Saturday)

Please note that due to the nature of the role, no sponsorship or relocation packages will be available for this position so all candidates must already be eligible to both live and work in the UK to be considered.

Job Specification:

You would be required to work in our preparation kitchen undertaking the responsibilities of prep for all sections of the service kitchens. This would include working alongside our main kitchen team to ensure that everything is prepared and ready for service whether that is meat, fish, garnish or pastry. You will be flexible and able to manage different elements of our food provisions to best support the team. You must work in a clean and organized manor while still meeting timing and quantity expectations at all times while ensuring that quality levels are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing and managing orders.
  • Ensuring deliveries arrive on time and are correct.
  • Stock Rotation of fridges and dry stores.
  • Aiding in Menu Planning alongside senior team.
  • Health & Hygiene throughout the kitchen to make sure all areas are well kept, organized and maintained.
