Job Title: Programme Manager

Location: Due to COVID-19 we are all currently working remotely & flexibly. Ideally candidates will be within commutable distance of York, which is where our head office is, close to the University, commutable via rail & bus, with on-site parking. Our Customer Success team have a Victoria London base.

Salary: £50 – £55k, plus exciting & competitive benefits

About the role:

This new role is part of the Delivery Leadership team, joining an experienced team of Customer Success professionals and technical engineers, creating visibility and excitement around use of our platform with clients. The product uses the latest technologies to deliver a world-class end-user experience, that is easy to use with a strong collection of functionality and features.

Projects are typically within the Technology Service Provider markets. You don’t need experience of software development, the role is focused on delivery of software to address business need. However, you do need to be able to motivate teams to deliver great outcomes for clients, and ensure rigour in the delivery lifecycle.

Key duties:

Project / Programme Management

  • Customer engagement for key customer programmes & deliveries
    • Interface with customer Project / Programme Managers for hublsoft deliveries
    • Provide customer governance oversight of all hublsoft rollouts and implementations, including status & value of platform usage & capability
    • Senior customer stakeholder engagement across multiple levels
    • MI & reporting and communications for multiple stakeholder levels, both customers & internal
    • Risks & Issues – oversee risk and issue management & ensure mitigations are in place and resolved through negotiated agreement.
    • Own the outcomes for delivery and drive multiple programme plans simultaneously
  • Portfolio Delivery management across multiple customer deliveries & internal teams, ensuring an ethos of customer excellence and continuous improvement
    • Take responsibilities for the management and delivery of all programmes and projects across the hublsoft lifecycle
    • Work with Customer Success and BI Leads and teams to support successful delivery
    • Work with Customer Success Leads to understand and communicate customer Value Messaging using the hublsoft platform
    • Work alongside the Delivery teams to ensure projects are controlled and delivery changes are available to agreed timescales.
    • Manage internal governance meetings

Other Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for specific key customers
  • Active role in the Delivery Leadership team
  • Regular interactions with CEO, CFO, CTO, Business Development Manager and People Partner
  • Immerse yourself in our hublsoft platform to understand how to achieve and actively drive a customised experience for our customers, in collaboration with Customer Success
  • Business Line Delivery revenue and budget management
  • Interface with internal technical teams to fuel the development roadmap, ensure customer feedback, bugs & features are delivered to support user value

About you:

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experienced Project / Programme Manager; confident owning and delivering project & programme outcomes with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous experience of successful project control and delivery supporting, cross-discipline teams, using defined PM methods
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive outcome driven relationships
  • Credible and influential at senior executive level, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing organisation
  • Ability to ensure multiple delivery workstreams through others to milestones
  • Experience analysing and optimising project delivery processes
