Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity following a re-structure of our Sales and Marketing department to join the business at an exciting time. Based on our Croydon office, The Lender Account Manager will work report directly to our Head of Lender Relationships.
The role will focus specifically on regular engagement across a number of our bank and building society customers, managing existing relationships to ensure that our customers are obtaining the maximum benefits that our products provide, sharing market insights and managing day to day operational queries. A crucial part of the role is focused on the relationships and forming excellent partnerships, seeking to fully understand our customers future aspirations, the challenges they face within their business that we may be able to provide solutions for and sharing our views on the market alongside our plans for the future, these collaborative relationships are what will set us aside from our competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day relationships with designated customers
- Achieve commercial targets aligned to designated customers
- Oversee existing contracts and product usage on a monthly basis identifying risks or opportunities
- Support finance with outstanding payments
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Understand key competitor propositions
- Build strong relationships across multiple business areas within all customers including (but not limited to) Distribution, Product, Credit Risk and Transformation teams
- Deliver the required level of both operational and strategic review meetings to ensure that our products are being fully utilised and maximise sales and/or development opportunities
- Support with training and creating relevant management information packs
The Candidate:
- Must have recent experience in account management
- Must have evidence of working within an FCA regulated environment
- Must be able to evidence an understanding of the UK mortgage market
- Must be able to evidence the ability to create business plans
- Must have commercial acumen and strong negotiating skills
- Must be competent in regards to data analysis
- Ideally, be able to evidence existing relationships within UK Banks and Building Societies
- Ideally, be able to evidence a strong understating of the UK mortgage market
