Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Ely, Littleport, Earith & Surrounding Area
Salary: £9.01 per hour
Hours: Up to 39 hours per week

The Role:
The role of a Support Worker is to ensure the people we work with are safe, happy and leading fulfilling lives. Supporting someone with a learning disability isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
As a Support Worker you could be supporting people with day to day activities such as cooking and looking after their home or on days out, visiting social clubs or the cinema. You will be inventive and always looking to broaden people’s choices and experiences, no two days are the same. You will work alongside your management team as they work hands on offering support and guidance.

Part time positions are also available for this role.
The Candidate:
- You don’t need to have worked in supported living before to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind, patient and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you. We have a comprehensive induction which along with shadow shifts will give you the skills and knowledge you need.
- If you haven’t got any qualifications you will be supported to undertake your level 2 diploma in social care.
- You will need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
