The role:
We’re seeking a proactive and pragmatic Innovation Manger to join us on our mission to revolutionize consumer habits and reset our throwaway society. Our future is incredibly exciting and we’re growing our stellar team to achieve those goals.
As we grow, it’s vital for us to create an environment where people can perform incredibly well whilst also being fulfilled and happy – you’ll have the unique opportunity to adapt, improve and own our innovations team to drive the future range proposition, deliver innovative zero waste packaging solutions and great products that fit our customer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Shaping the future product proposition of the business.
- Managing a team responsible for the scoping, development, and internal processes of product launches.
- Sourcing, nurturing and managing the supply base and their development opportunities.
- Working alongside the trading and brand teams to create aligned projects that support our brand in a commercially robust manner.
- Subject matter expert in the developments, suitability and implementation of packaging formats.
The Candidate:
- You are excited by our mission to revolutionise consumer habits and reset our throwaway society
- You have around 5 + years in in food development roles.
- You have demonstrable experience within working with different food categories
- You thrive in fast paced environments
- You are happiest when solving problems or being in the detail
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, future focused and innovative with a vision for the future of grocery retailing.
- A demonstrable passion and care for sustainability.
- You will ooze confidence when dealing with a range of suppliers from ones that need nurturing, support and management to more developed ones that need to be aligned and challenged.
- You are obsessed with planning and organization skills to keep projects on track.
- You are Innovative and creative in approach to overcome obstacles and setbacks.
