Job Title: Logistics & Installation Assistant

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience

About the role:
You will be responsible for providing competent and flexible support to both the Logistics operation and Installation Team. Full training will be provided and the role is a gateway to becoming a certified Installation Technician.
Assisting with technical installation projects and the smooth running of our logistics operation, you will take responsibility for ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. This role would be ideal for a technically minded individual with an eye for detail who gains job satisfaction from working as part of a team to deliver an outstanding service.
Our Logistics operation runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm from our Milton Park hub. While working on installation projects, you should expect to be away from home an average of four nights per week (which will attract a tax-free subsistence allowance) and work is scheduled on an any 5 days out of 7 basis averaged over 17 weeks and will include weekday, weekend and bank holiday duties, with rest days between installations. Whilst work is predominately scheduled in the UK and Ireland, some European and International travel is expected.
Job Duties:
- Booking in, picking and packing items, ensuring KPIs are met
- Safe and secure loading and unloading of vehicles for each installation
- Assisting with installation of medical imaging equipment into the sites
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and welfare
- Assist Lead Technician during installations
- Conduct tool checks
- Awareness of Aviation Security protocols
Essential Requirements:
- A good command of the English language, both written and oral
- Keen interest in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to work independently
- An interest in learning new skills
- Customer focused attitude
- Clear understanding of Health and Safety and safe methods of work
