Job Title: Transmission Engineer
Location: Luton
Salary: From £20,000 per year – dependent on age and experience.

A very busy, family owned, Luton based Transmissions Company is looking to recruit someone to join our Engineering team.
The weekly working hours Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 16.30 hrs and Friday 08.00 – 16.00 hrs, with a 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break.
The Role:
The role involves the assembly/rebuild of gearboxes, transfer boxes and differentials for the Land Rover drivetrain. This is bench role and you will be joining a team of 8 others. Full training will be given but the suitable candidate must have a proven mechanical aptitude and experience in a similar mechanical or engineering field.
Suitable candidate must be physically fit, hardworking with a good and pleasant working attitude and must have good communication skills and be fully conversant with both written and spoken English.

- Bonus paid every May, not contractual, but has been paid for last 10 years + and so no reason to change. It is based on individual performances and company profits.
