The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented dryliner / ceiling fixer to join our team. This could also suit a trainee/apprentice. As a dryliner / ceiling fixer, your duties will include working on projects that will all be at varying stages of the project lifestyle including delivery and on-site installation right through to the completion of the project. The role will involve coordination between various internal teams.
Key Requirements:
- To be competent in the setting out of metal stud partitions.
- To be able to work to drywall details and specifications
- Installation of metal stud partitions and plasterboard in a timely manner.
- Managing and maintaining all the required equipment for the job.
- Keeping your supervisor abreast of your progress and reporting any job-related issues.
- Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
The Candidate:
- At least one year experience as a dryliner.
- Relevant CSCS card
- Valid driver’s license is desirable but not essential
- Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.
- Ability to interpret construction blueprints.
- Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.
- Basic math skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
