Job Title: Experienced Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic
Location: Langford Lane, Kidlington, Oxford OX5
Salary: £25,000.00 / £27,000.00+ dependant on experience. Paid monthly
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent (Would consider part time)
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Mon – Fri 08.00am – 5.00pm No weekend working (Option of overtime)
Kidlington Tyre & Exhaust Centre is a long-established independent tyre fitting, MOT testing & vehicle serving centre near Oxford.
Offering personal service and local knowledge along with an excellent range of Car Tyres, 4×4 Tyres, Van Tyres, and High-performance tyres to suit all vehicles.
Job Role:
Immediate start, overtime available on a regular basis with negotiable pay including 20 Days + Bank Holidays.
General duties:
- Vehicle servicing diagnostic & repairs.
- MOT Testing would be advantageous, or training can be provided.
- Tyre & exhaust fitting
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have a positive, willing attitude & be enthusiastic to work on their own initiative.
- Applicants must have experience in the fast fit garage industry.
- Fully qualified: City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent.
- Be able to communicate and discuss vehicle faults with customers.
- Be able to complete written paperwork & service history logging.
- Hold a full valid driving licence.
- Must have own tools.
- Evidence of ‘Right to work in the UK’
- Ability to work without supervision.
