Job Title: Yard Manager
Location: Carnforth, Lancashire
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
The role: This is a responsible position to develop and implement improvement going forward, maximise productivity and efficiency.
The Company: Border Aggregates are a wholesale bulk & specialist aggregate supplier, servicing the North of England and beyond. We are proud owners of our own transport fleet, which currently consists of over 30 vehicles, and we manage, service and repair all vehicles on site.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Your key responsibilities would include all yard staff, control production -this includes auto and manual bagging plants.
- Completing all necessary paper work in line with company procedures.
- Ensuring the yard is a safe, clean and tidy environment.
- Work with managers from other departments i.e. Transport, workshop etc.
The Candidate:
- Fork Lift Licence is Essential.
- Load Shovel – can be trained if necessary.
- Strong organisational and communications skills required.
