About the role
This role requires a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual, who is passionate about training and development, and has previous experience in digital marketing
The purpose of this role is to assess training and development needs within the business and to develop and administer training programmes. The Senior Training Manager will work closely with the Head of Training to provide exceptional training globally, to all Croud employees
The Senior Training Manager will either deliver in-person training or source a suitable product specialist from our internal team. The Senior Training Manager must ensure we can provide training, as required and on request, covering all of Croud’s digital marketing channels across all 4 global offices
The Senior Training Manager is responsible for the constant monitoring of all training programmes provided at Croud. To ensure new material is being regularly created in line with business needs, and existing material is continually updated and improved, to ensure maximum effectiveness
Key Duties
- Organising and planning new starter induction training sessions
- Organising set up meetings with line managers and outlining what is expected from the line manager during the induction period
- Auditing induction planners monthly and liaising with line managers to ensure all new starters receive a thorough training programme
- Working with senior managers to address any learning issues for specific employees or departments, and tailor training programs as necessary
- Delivering in-person and online training as required and on request across all 4 offices
- Working closely with product specialists to ensure we can offer multi channel training across the business
- Monitoring and evaluating Croud’s training programme’s effectiveness and identifying areas needing improvement
- Tracking training progress globally and reporting statistics and areas of concern to senior managers
- Creating learning curriculums for internal staff providing a mixture of learning styles including our online learning platform, classroom and 1-2-1 sessions
- Support internal trainers and provide feedback
- Training across the business of all new features being released regarding our proprietary software ‘Croud Control’
- Providing direction and guidance to the Training Manager and Training Executive
- Proactively identifying workflow efficiencies to counter ineffective processes within the team – new ways of working, continuous process improvement
- Maintaining understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Degree level education or relevant equivalent experience
- Demonstrable in-depth experience in Digital Marketing
- Previous experience in training and development is essential
- Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
- Highly organised and an ability to multitask
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent G Suite skills including Google docs, sheets and slides
- Proven track record of working to and meeting deadlines. Proven time management skills
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- Experience in working with a Learning Management System
- The ability to autonomously identify training needs across the business and generate ideas for training programmes
- Problem solving, and decision making skills are essential
- Familiarity with different training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops etc)

Standard hours are from 9am to 5:45pm – there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours)
