About the role:

As part of the role of customer support, you will be responsible for building relationships with prospective and existing customers and delivering an exceptional level of customer experience. You will be instrumental in maximising all sales opportunities for Leasing Options by providing as much help and information to our customers as possible. Whilst delivering outstanding customer service, you will be required at all times to strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) and the British Vehicle Leasing and Rental Association (“BVRLA”).
Key Duties:
- To achieve Key Performance Indicators as set by management
- Qualify new opportunities and ensure that they are passed to and then followed up by an Account Manager, in a professional and timely manner
- To ensure customers are kept informed of enquiry and order progress
- To update the Leasing Options database and bank/funder databases where required with correct and true information
- To carry out regulatory training as and when required
- Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
- Gain basic vehicle specification knowledge
- Ensure all dealings and conversations with customers are conducted in line with all regulatory guidelines and the general principle of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’
- Ensure you have a basic knowledge of company car taxation i.e. how to work out Benefit in kind
- You may be required to carry out other duties from time to time to meet the needs of the business
Key Requirements:
- Must have previous Sales Experience
- Warm, friendly telephone manner
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- Basic Maths skills
- Listening to customers’ requirements
- Friendly & Outgoing Manner
- Competent IT skills with ability to learn new software quickly
- Act with honesty and integrity at all times
