Job Title: 360 Excavator Operator / Wheel Loading Shovel Operator

Salary: Between £17 – £18 / hour depending on experience

Hinton Skips are one of the largest operating skip hire companies in South London and Surrey.
The role: Hintons are currently looking for experience 360 Excavator Drivers and Wheel Loading Shovel Operators to work on a permanent full time basis for the south London and Surrey area’s leading Skip Hire Company.
Immediate starts available. Monday to Friday 6am – 4:30pm. 6am – 11:30am Saturdays. Permanent, full time positions available for the right candidates. Full training is provided but experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Operation of mobile plant (Loading Shovel) and/or 360 Excavators safely and efficiently carrying out daily safety checks
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping keeping areas clean, tidy and hazard free
- Digging foundations and levelling ground
- Carrying out lifting operations involving large materials
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
The Candidate:
- Experience operating a tracked 360 Excavator / Wheel Loading Shovels
- CPCS (Blue), NPORS or EPIC tickets are the minimum requirement for this role
- Previous onsite operating experience
- Driver must have correct PPE ie safety boots and high-vis vest
- Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
