The role:
We are seeking a dynamic and engaged sales executive to provide sales support to Zedify licensees at our regional microhubs. This role will be responsible for generating and closing new sales opportunities as well as raising awareness of the Zedify brand. You will be part of our central team reporting to the Commercial Director but you will be working closely with our regional microhub teams.
The Candidate:
- 1-3 years sales experience, ideally in a sustainability led business or start-up environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence in speaking with senior decision makers
- Excellent telephone call handling skills including questioning, probing, listening, establishing rapport and closing deals
- Experience & understanding of Salesforce/Hubspot or a similar CRM preferred but not essential
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Implement a strategic sales strategy to grow Zedify’s customer base in our operating cities
- Develop new opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline of potential business
- Working closely with the operations team, provide cost calculations and quotations for prospective clients
- Support and develop cross sell opportunities on behalf of other licensees
- Ensure the CRM (or sales pipeline reporting) system is updated accurately and regularly
- Report on sales activity on a monthly basis, ensuring performance meets agreed targets for revenue and profit
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment to business strategies and communicate priorities and direction accurately and consistently
- Be a proactive member of the sales team, staying abreast of industry trends and developments
