We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our customers.
The role:
Car mechanic/vehicle technician needed for a busy used car garage. The candidate must be experienced and keen to learn. Candidates with experience of PDI Inspection and Car Fitting will be prioritised. Duties include routine maintenance on various vehicles and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The post is ideal for an all-rounder with knowledge of most vehicles. The role is a self-sufficient role; you will be expected to be a self-starter who can manage a large fleet of vehicles, prioritizing work from bodywork to inspect bodywork, to engines, interiors, valet and preparing vehicles for MOT. The garage is situated outside of Birmingham.
The main duties of the job fall into: checking cars before delivery PDi inspections making sure full satisfaction before released to customers, driving car transporter delivering cars collecting cars and light mot vehicle maintenance and all mot failures.
The Candidate:
- All must have a valid driving licence
- Minimum 2 year experience
- Must have qualification for mechanic
