Job Title: M&E Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Established in 1999, the company is made up of a small team that have been designing, building and maintaining highly innovative containerized tanker cleaning equipment which provide efficient, cost effective and green hygiene solutions for milk haulage companies and the dairy industry. They are a strong and capable business which continues to go from strength to strength.
The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer to join the team to help meet the growing demand for the equipment which they develop, build, supply, operate and maintain. This is a wide ranging role spanning across these vital aspects of their business.
Key Experience:
- Ability to deliver a range of installation, commissioning and servicing duties
- Experience in electrical and mechanical engineering – a distinct advantage if this has been acquired in the dairy industry
- Familiarity with standard industrial electrical LV (low voltage control panel)
- Logical approach to fault finding
- Experience of maintaining pumps, butterfly valves, compressors, pneumatic actuators
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred)
- Understanding of PLC’s , HMI’s, SCADA systems preferred – although they do have dedicated expertise in relation to these areas in-house who can offer support
- Experience of control systems , VSD’s / inverters and process instrumentation
The Candidate:
- Flexible, reliable and well organised
- An ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues & suppliers
- The ability or potential to manage a small team
- Full driving licence
