Job Title: Distribution Operative
Location: Holmfirth
Salary: £9.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am – 6.30pm, plus occasional weekend over time

Job role:
The successful candidate will be part of a team working in our refrigerated warehouse. Duties include, stock control, order picking, vehicle loading and working to our clean as you go policy. The role will primarily involve the loading of vans with the correct stock ready for the driver rounds the following day.
Key Requirements:
- All candidates must be currently eligible to work in the United Kingdom
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Manual Handling training
- Conscientious, positive thinking
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Effective and collaborative communication skills
- An excellent attitude towards the fundamentals of hygiene and food safety
- A desire to ensure that individual, as well as departmental objectives are achieved, ideally exceeded

- Good level of physical fitness and manual handling

The Candidate:
All team members are expected to demonstrate a reasonable degree of flexibility, with varying working hours to limit the impact of engineering works on production schedules. Although the hours are predominantly Monday to Friday, some weekend availability is required from time to time. The engineering team all take part in an out of hours cover rota to attend site in the event of a break down or emergency and you will be expected to fit alongside your colleagues within the rotation. The compensation for out of hours cover is paid in addition to the salary stated.
